This is my second experience of using Michael and the team at Good Estate Agents. After completing my purchase in April, my Dad was struggling to get offers on his house using Douglas Allen, despite over 40 viewings. I persuaded him to jump ship to Good. He received an immediate offer which he accepted. As before, the team were always on the ball, communicative and we all worked well as a team - bringing the sale over the line last week. Dealing with The Good Agent has been one of the best experiences I’ve had with an agency since renting, which is about 20 years! We moved after having an awful experience with another agency based in Loughton, and from the day we viewed the new property with Terrence from The Good Agent, until the day we moved in, it was seamless. Terrence really cares and has made sure we are happy in our new home. He has been brilliant throughout the process and and hopefully we will be going through them to buy our first property soon. I would recommend them!
The Good Estate agent have been amazing to work with from start to finish. Having previously been listed with another agent for a couple of months with limited interest we are kicking ourselves for not changing agent sooner. Michael and the team made a difference from day 1 booking far more viewings than we had previously and getting offers on the table. Once we were under offer sadly it was not plain sailing for us however this is where Michael and the team really came into their own. I honestly believe that if it were not for Michael our chain would have fallen apart. Michael is an expert in what he does and he provided sound advice through every step of the process. Michael and the team are very responsive and provide amazing customer service and results.
We recently bought our first ever home from the Good Estate Agent and we can honestly say that Shannon was by far the very best person we dealt with throughout the whole process! Despite it being quite a complicated purchase with a long chain, Shannon stayed calm throughout the whole journey, always kept us in the loop of what's happening, helped us chase up all the various people involved, and ultimately got us to completion! We always felt like we could call or email her whenever anything came up or whenever we had any questions, which helped alleviate some of the stress from this whole process. From our initial meeting with Michael, we knew that The Good Estate Agent was the right choice for us. Michael laid out in detail his modern, comprehensive approach to sales using all media platforms, his fees and his enthusiasm for getting the job done, all without the usual "Estate Agent Rhetoric". The house was put on the market on July 7th and the sale was completed on November 7th, considering the current economic climate the sale went through almost unbelievably quickly. We could not have asked for more from the team at The Good, for the advice, professional manner in which the open houses were handled and the excellent communication throughout. Special mention to Shannon for her hard work liaising with us, the buyers, and chasing the solicitors when necessary and keeping us fully informed at every stage.
